Community Spotlight: Mount Horeb

We’re having a lot of fun with our office in Blue Mounds and the nearby community of Mount Horeb. There’s been a lot of changes in the last year in Mount Horeb, and we’re excited to share with you some of those.

Skal Public House

COMING SOON! We’re so looking forward to stopping by this bar/restaurant, soon to be in Mount Horeb. So we hear there’s been a lot of remodeling taking place and there’s no doubt that all the hard work the owners have put into this establishment will be warmly welcomed and much appreciated by everyone. There’s nothing better than a cold craft beer and some delicious upscale pub food.

Brix Cider

New to Mount Horeb in 2019, we gladly welcome Brix Cider. Opening in a large open building, offering farm to table menu and hard cider on tap; we were very excited to be able to try out this establishment. Sit and try and flight, eat some tasty food and let your kids play, because yes, they have a kids train set and toys that will keep your youngins busy for a while. Brix Cider also keeps a steady stream of live music, and if that isn’t the cherry on top, we don’t know what is. 

Icki Sticki

Shaved ice anyone? This new 2019 addition on Main Street in Mount Horeb has been nonstop busy. Additionally, they have ice cream, espresso, and sweet, sweet pastries. Also, providing a play section for your littles, in case you want to sip your latte and eat your cinnamon roll while your kids burn off some of their playful energy. With some fabulous merchandise available for purchase, we believe Icki Sticki is the answer we’ve been waiting for. 

Whether it’s all the delicious restaurants/cafes (Sunn Cafe, Schubert’s, Sjolinds and more), or the cute home decor and clothing stores (Kella, Acorn, and McFee on Main) that have found their way into Mount Horeb; the growth is much appreciated by the locals and tourists alike. We hope this trend of successful and creative local businesses continues in this adorable village, and we’ll be sure to frequent them all! Stayed tuned for our next spotlight in a community near you!
